- Every claim on screen carries its source and a tier: on tape, documented, reported or paraphrased.
- Every report links to its documents, here and beneath the post. Over time each report, document and article joins a single map on this site, so any name can be traced to every source behind it.
- Living subjects are invited to comment before publication, and their response is included.
- Every report has to hold with the audio muted: each claim is carried by picture and caption, on screen long enough to be read. Music adds weight; it never carries information the viewer cannot see.
- Corrections are made when an error is shown with evidence at least as strong as the original sourcing, and are logged here and attached to the report.
- Live court cases: charges in the court's own words, denials on screen.
- No sponsor, no owner, nothing to sell.
